About us
The Quarry Gospel Church is an evangelical church established in April 2019 on the outskirts of Newquay.

We have a passion to model ourselves on the life of the earliest Christian church as described in the Bible in the Book of Acts Chapter 2 :
"They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching
and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer."
We are a community of believers who live in and around Newquay who are united by the gospel and by a common purpose. We are here to impact Newquay with the good news of the Lord Jesus Christ.

We believe that, as disciples of Jesus Christ, we should worship God, seek to grow in our faith and in our desire to tell others about Jesus and go out into the world to influence, love, work, and speak as ambassadors for the Gospel.
Our Pastor
Andrew Mitchell
Andrew was a pastor in Newquay for 8 years before being called by God to establish The Quarry Gospel Church. He has lived in Newquay since 1989 with his wife Jane and has two daughters.
His passion as a pastor is in teaching the Bible and showing how it should be the foundation of our lives today.
When he finds a spare hour or two, he enjoys DIY, F1, photography and playing the bass guitar.
